Transformational Workplace Mediation and Workplace Restoration

My mediation superpower is moving the parties from their difficult  (sometimes extremely difficult) starting points to a durable and sustainable solution, based on cultivation of mutual respect and appreciation.

This usually involves several sessions alone with each party, where I get to understand  their perspectives and motivations. I introduce a suite of specialized tools, creating enough safety for the parties to insightfully  and objectively view their own, involuntary or intentional, contributions to the conflict.

The parties learn how to:

  • Observe and accept the impact that their conscious and unconscious thoughts, words, attitudes and behaviours are having on another person.
  • Act and respond with intention and awareness.

When the parties are brought together for their first joint session, each is equipped to engage with their opposing party from a place of acceptance, curiosity and compassion. 

They are ready to engage in a process of problem solving, aimed at delivering a durable and sustainable solution.
